While plenty of starlets showed up for Givenchy fall 2015, not even Kim Kardashian’s newly platinum locks could’ve stolen the show from Riccardo Tisci’s ornate collection. Katy Perry, Jessica Chastain, Amanda Seyfried and, of course, the Wests, all sat front row at the hottest ticket at Paris Fashion Week. The collection is best described by Tisci himself: the “Victorian-chola girl,” whose look was comprised of rich velvet dresses, corseted jackets and a heavy helping of face jewelry. [Style.com]

Kanye West pulled off an impromptu concert on Saturday night at the Fondation Louis Vuitton, the new Frank Gehry art destination in Paris. His performance attracted a huge crowd, as well as praise from his new BFF, Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH. For West, performing in the space was a special experience and, of course, always about the art: “When I saw it, I was just so in love with the architecture and the modern space and the way they curated the art.” [Women’s Wear Daily]

Vogue’s style editor-at-large Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis stirred up controversy after posting a photo on her personal Instagram that showed a homeless woman reading the magazine. The caption read: “Paris is full of surprises…and @voguemagazine readers even in unexpected corners!” The German princess’ photo attracted a lot of criticism, and after attempting to defend the post she finally deleted it and posted an apology message.
